Youth Boost

Youth Boost is a program created to assist and provide support to youths that face barriers that prevent them from participating in organized sports.

Youth Boost is an unbrella program offered by the non profit youth advocacy organization  AYICCN (Alberta Youth in Care & Custody Network).

Youth Boost is open to ALL youths who need help overcoming barriers (i.e. financial, equipment, transportation, lack of parental support, food, etc.).

Youth boost is not a hand out but an empowering way to allow more youths the opportunity to participate in organized sports.

The youth are expected to work together in creating on annual fundraiser for Youth Boost. The youth become empowered by working together with adult support as they plan and put on the fundraiser.

We believe that all youth should have an opportunity to participate in organized sports and reap the numerous  physical, emotional & "character building" benefits  that sports provide.
